FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

When is the ideal time to schedule a Maternity or Newborn Session?

Typically, I schedule maternity sessions for the second trimester; 28-32 week range. Though, if you'd like to schedule for earlier or later I am happy to accommodate.
Newborn sessions between five and 14 days after their birth for best results. Although I will schedule newborns at any age, I strongly encourage parents to schedule sessions when babies are at least under two weeks of age. 

What should we bring to the newborn photo session? 

It’s a good idea to bring extra diapers, wipes, and a change of clothes for both the baby and parents. If your baby uses a pacifier (even if not), bringing one can be helpful. Feel free to bring any special blankets or props you’d like to include in the photos. Wraps & props are provided.

How long does a typical photo session last?

A typical newborn photo session lasts between 2 to 3 hours. This allows plenty of time for feeding, changing, and soothing your baby as needed, while also providing ample opportunity to capture a variety of beautiful images.

What safety measures do you take during the session?

Your baby's safety is our top priority. I am trained in handling newborns safely and ensure all props and equipment are sanitized before each session.

Do you provide a cake for the first birthday session?

Your baby's safety is our to No. Due to unknown allergies or risk of an allergy I leave the cake up parents. I've seen it all, cakes, donuts, steaks/ribs, cookies, and even pizza. Enjoy this milestone and feel free to select something special to your little!
